»We energize your business« – is the claim of the Koelnmesse (Cologne Trade Fair) regarding its services and promise to its customers.

To realise this, the trade fair organisers on the right side of the Rhine are permanently investing in the quality of the events. New trade fair topics are always complementing the programme concerning world trade fairs such as photokina, Anuga and the international furniture trade fair. Investments are also made in the site.
After the realisation of its Master Plan 2006, the Cologne Trade Fair offers one of the most attractive exhibition centres in Europe. Especially the quality of stay has been improved – there are four new halls which can be flexibly used, two new entrance areas with all service facilities, catering has been developed and there is a direct connection to the Köln Messe/Deutz station.
The »new« Koelnmesse will also, as part of the new »Trade Fair City« on the right side of the Rhine, set new trends in urban development. As a direct neighbour of Europe’s largest media group, RTL, it will also clearly reinforce Cologne as a media hub. An average 50 per-cent of the exhibitors and one-third of the visitors come from abroad, making Cologne the location for the leading fairs where supply and demand for the worldmarket of the respective branches are almost completely represented.

For the sector leaders but also for medium-sized business, these pilot fairs are the shortest route to the world market and an important opportunity to take advantage of globalization and the internationalisation of their business sectors. The Cologne fairs bring the product ranges of 43,000 exhibiting companies together with the demand of two million visitors from more than 180 countries.
